Sketchbooks in Preschool and Kindergarten


What can we learn by watching and listening to children as they draw in sketchbooks?
What do the differences in content tell us about individual and shared interests?
What can we learn about connections between children's reasons for making art and the ways they go about constructing images?
How do children influence and inform (and maybe even instruct) each other when they draw together in the social space of the art classroom?
